But did you know that Breakwells specialise in custom colour matching and offer this service for all their customers?

What is custom colour matching?
Led by Craig Gillion, Breakwells in-house technical team have a wealth of knowledge and experience and by complementing this with state of the art machinery the team can colour match to any RAL, BS or Tekaloid paint colour code, but did you know that we also specialise in custom colour matching!

Many people do not know the code of the paint colour they require especially if it is an automotive paint colour as the paint colour code is in different places on different models of car. Another problem we have found with automotive paint is that on older vehicles the paint colour may have faded or weathered slightly so colour matching to the car paint colour code might not give an exact match. Custom colour matching will alleviate these problems and is the process of colour matching the paint to a sample rather than a paint colour code. Custom colour matching definitely isn’t easy and it takes years of experience and a trained eye but it is one of the most important parts of the service we offer.

With over 22 years’ experience between them the Breakwells technical team are experts in custom colour matching and have had some great feedback over the years. Paint colour formulation 
Once custom colour matched the unique paint formulation colour code can be stored on our inhouse system for a small fee.  This will give you peace of mind that you will never have to worry about bringing the sample in again as it will be securely stored here for you, making re-ordering a straight forward process.

Paint colour spray out cards
For customers who would feel happier seeing the custom colour matched paint before purchase we can spray this onto a paint spray out card so you can see the end result first. If at this point it isn’t what you expected we can tweak this until you are happy with it.
