A range of Industrial Cellulose, Master Craftsman, PVC17 and PVC Pro that are ideal for the Construction Sector.
Our in-house technical team can colour match the paint to RAL and British Standard colour codes. Alternatively, you can supply a sample panel for a colour match.
If you are simply touching up, we can supply 400ml aerosol spray paints or 125ml and 250ml touch up paint pots, which have a brush in the lid, these are ideally used for small areas or scratches.
Industrial Cellulose Application:
- Preparation – You can use one of our green, grey or red scotchbrite to key back the surface you are applying to. Then use one of our Tack Cloths to remove any excess dirt and dust.
- Primer – We supply different primers such as High Build Primer (Grey and White) or an Etch Primer.
- Paint – Industrial Cellulose paint comes in different sizes which has to be applied through a spray gun. In order to use this paint you will need to thin this down using the mixing ratio 1:1. We supply different thinners for different seasons.
1. Premium Thinner – Recommended for use during Spring/Summer
2. Anti-Bloom Thinner – Recommended for use during Autumn/Winter
3. Standard Thinner – Primarily used for thinning the primer and cleaning down surfaces/equipment. - Lacquer – This is not required but can add one if needed/required for extra protection.
Master Craftsman (Synthetic) Application:
- Preparation – You can use one of our green, grey or red scotchbrite to key back the surface you are applying to. Then use one of our Tack Cloths to remove any excess dirt and dust.
- Primer – You will need to add a primer to the surface. We recommend our 1K high build anti-corrosive synthetic primer. This is available in Dark Grey. For other materials, please speak to our Technical Hub.
- Undercoat – You can add an undercoat for better coverage. We recommend our Master Craftsman undercoat available in different colours.
- Paint – Our synthetic paint range Master Craftsman is brush/roller applied. You can add up to 10% of 2611 or 2612 thinner to help with the brush drag. All Master Craftsman products are proud to carry the Made in Britain stamp.

- Paint – PVC 17 and PVC Pro is spray application only. This is direct adhesion, so no primer required. Available in aerosols and for spray gun, up to 25% of 2661 thinner is required in the mix.
Standard Aerosol Application:
- Preparation – You can use one of our green, grey or red scotchbrite to key back the surface you are applying to. Then use one of our Tack Cloths to remove any excess dirt and dust.
- Primer – You will need to apply a plastic primer to the surface. This is used with the cellulose based aerosols.
- Paint – Cellulose based aerosols are to be used on top of the plastic primer. These cover roughly 1sqm per 400ml can. Do not mix synthetic and cellulose products as these will react.
