Breakwells Paints are proud to sponsor Willenhall Transport Show

Breakwells Paints are proud to sponsor the Willenhall Transport Show which will take place on Sunday 27th June at Willenhall Memorial Park from 11am – 3pm, subject to local and national Covid guidance and restrictions. As always, the show will be full of like-minded transport enthusiasts who will enjoy a day of fun, showcasing their vehicles and sharing stories and renovation tips with each other.

And where did it all begin? Six years ago, Harry Constable asked a simple question to Sean Couglan, “Why doesn’t someone start a transport show?” to which Sean replied, “You do it and I will help”. Helped by 2 other local businessmen Nigel Dutton and Russell Eynon, owner of Breakwells Paints, Willenhall Transport Show was born. It was simply Willenhall people trying to make a difference to their community by raising the profile of Willenhall Town and increasing trade into local businesses. At the onset they agreed that ALL profits from the show would be donated to local charities.

Over the years the show has seen some great vehicles including customised fire engines, vintage Rolls Royce’s, a Back to the Future Delorean, a Bond Bug and some very unusual customised cars and even though this year maybe a little different, they still aim to welcome up to 200 vehicles of all shapes and sizes. What makes it so special is that behind every vehicle is a story to tell and these stories are made to be shared with fellow enthusiasts. It is a fun day for all and there is no charge to exhibit but organisers ask that all vehicles are parked up by 10.30 and owners register in advance to help them plan the layout. Russell has always had a passion for cars and visits the show yearly and this year, as sponsors of the show, Russell and the Breakwells team will be taking a stand. They will be showcasing some of the most popular products from their range, including aerosol’s and touch up pots, as well as being on hand to have a chat, advise and share stories with you. During his time at Breakwells Russell has made some excellent contacts within the classic car and heritage sector, and more recently Breakwells have been selected to supply their range of paints to famous YouTuber, Dan Chambers. We are hoping Dan will be joining us on the day so pop the date in your diary and make sure you don’t miss out on what is set to be a fantastic day for all!
